About Us
 
Children aged four and upwards attend Guru Ram Das Darbar in Calgary to learn Kirtan (the performing of Sikh hymns) using the Harmonium (Vaja) and Tabla (East Indian percussion instrument). Students are also taught the recitation of Gurbani, reading/writing/speaking of the Punjabi language, and Sikh History. Classes are scheduled on every Saturday from 2 - 5 pm, yet private lessons can be arranged at any time throughout the week.

PLEASE NOTE - ROAD CLOSURES:

The intersection of 84th Street and McKnight Blvd has been shut down temporarily due to construction of the new Ring Road freeway that is being built.

In order to get to GRDD, pass 84th Street while traveling on McKnight, turn left on 100th Street. There are signs setup explaining where to go. For further details contact 403.285.3035.
